The Rules Governing Horse Racing in Alberta are AMENDED as follows:
Chapter 3: General Horse Racing Rules, Part 6 Standardbred Racing, Division 5 Placing and Money Distribution
The following Rule 421 s is AMENDED to read:
Rule 421 s Purses distributed on dash basis
(1) All races shall be bona fide contests with the winner receiving the largest share of the purse and the balance of the purse distribution made according to the order of finish. No arrangement for equal distribution of the purse money is permitted.
(2) Purse money redistributed must be limited to the first 5 finishing positions.
Rule 421 s Purses distributed on dash basis previously stated:
(1) Unless otherwise provided in the conditions, all purses must be distributed on the dash basis, with money being awarded according to horses' position in each separate dash or heat of the race.
(2) Purse money distributed must be limited to the first 5 finishing
positions.
